An article recently published by the Military Times stated that wait times at Department of Veterans Affairs hospitals and clinics are now shorter than those in private-sector health care institutions.
According to a study conducted by the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) in major cities across the country, these wait times have decreased significantly on average from recent years.
